1. Who We Are

Universal Mod-Porter ("we", "our", "the Service") is operated by CoreWebLogic. We provide a web-based tool for translating game mod JSON files using AI while preserving in-game control codes and formatting. 2. Data We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the Service:

—Account data: When you sign in via Google OAuth, we receive your name and email address from Google. This is used solely to identify your account.
—Usage data: We store your daily translation count, the date of your last translation, your account tier (free or paid), and your available Translation Credit balance. This data is stored in our database to enforce usage limits and credit balances.
—Payment data: Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record. We do not receive, store, or have access to your card details or financial information. Dodo Payments handles all payment compliance.
—Translation content: Snippets of text from your uploaded JSON files are sent to OpenAI's API for translation processing. We do not permanently store the contents of your uploaded files on our servers. Files are processed in your browser session only.
—Analytics: We use Vercel Web Analytics, which collects anonymous, aggregated page view counts and referrer domain information. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

3. How We Use Your Data

—To authenticate you and maintain your session
—To enforce daily free translation limits and Translation Credit balances
—To process your translation requests via OpenAI's API
—To fulfil paid Translation Credit purchases and grant credits to your account
—To understand general usage patterns and improve the Service

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with any third party beyond the service providers listed in Section 4.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

—Supabase — Database and authentication infrastructure. Stores your account and usage data.
—OpenAI — AI translation processing. Receives text snippets from your uploaded files transiently for translation. Subject to OpenAI's data usage policies.
—Dodo Payments — Payment processing and Merchant of Record. Handles all financial transactions and related compliance.
—Vercel — Hosting, deployment, and anonymous web analytics.
—Google — OAuth authentication provider. We receive only your name and email from Google during sign-in.

5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), our legal bases for processing your data are:

—Contract: Processing your account and usage data is necessary to provide the Service you have signed up for.
—Consent: Sending your translation content to OpenAI is based on your explicit consent, which you provide via the consent modal during sign-in. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.
—Legitimate interests: Anonymous analytics data is collected to understand and improve the Service.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and usage data for as long as your account remains active. If you request account deletion, all personally identifiable data associated with your account will be removed within 30 days. Translation content is never stored permanently — it exists only transiently during processing.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

—Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
—Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
—Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
—Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
—Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests.

8. Cookies

We use session cookies set by Supabase Auth to maintain your authenticated session. These are strictly necessary for the Service to function and are not used for tracking or advertising. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
